Sem Chumbo:

Mauri, yes they do. Here where I live, people will spend the summer at the "camp", even though it is 3 miles from their year-round home. We love the wild.

The Empire Builder = reference to flagship train of Great Northern Railway, running from Chicago to Pacific Northwest, named after railway founder James J. Hill, the "Empire Builder" Thanks Jeff for the greatest morning programming ever!!

Hello Jeffrey and devotees.
Postman just delivered the new Richmond Fontaine (that Willy Vlautin knows no bounds) and World Without End Bob Frank & John Murry (original murder ballards) Just the right weather over here for corpses in the shed.

Mark R.:

I was just listening to "Bessie Smith" the other day. I still like this "doctored, phony" version of "The Basement Tapes," too--maybe more than the "real" ones. People who were around then remember what a big deal it was when this album came out in the 70s after hearing so much about this music. Thanks for playing this one!
