H&O did do lot of very "coverable" songs. I was lucky to catch them live a couple of times in their heyday. Most of their records relied so much on studio contrivances that when they toured with their band and played those songs in live arrangements, it was like they were "covering" their own songs anyway!

The next time the drummer recognized me in the street outside the show. So far I've only met women who like that band, which is weird. @sheilaB -- yes, Dynamite Exploded is great! i don't have it, however prices have come down (to the 300-400 range) in recent years, for a while it was in the 800-1000 range... still far beyond my 45 budget, not to mention i doubt originals turn up often.
