So, at work, late at night when I was the only one at the office (I was still in college), I tuned it. It was tinny, I believe it was Gateway to Joy. Two years later I moved from FL to here.
	9:43am melinda: For a long time I didn't know it was called sunshine pop. In my mind I had it categorized as floaty 60s music.

	10:49am fred: A month ago, I saw a Surface Noise DJ set. Not as a reference to your show, but many of the records were surface noise or sounded like it. Knowing both DJs, I wouldn't be surprised if they had recorded actual surface noise to a brand new record. I loved it

	10:56am Cecile: I drove through Detroit a lot. It was the 80s. I mostly hit the inner ring burbs, Windsor, Tiger Stadium, St. Andrew's and Greektown. I'm sorry now that my vistas were so limited.

I think he's also the one who recorded 4 turntablists playing together live to vinyl, each on a separate spiral, so you can only hear one at a time. So that's his thing
