"I fancy him at the court of Minos, anxious to know what sort of unmentionable monster the Minotaur may be, whether he is as frightful as all that or perhaps charming?" - Albert Camus (Visit homepage.)

The Seventh Day: Prince in Memoriam – What Spooky Electric Say is Not OK
In the 1st of a 2 part tribute 2 the Fallen Prince, Miniature Minotaurs focuses on the struggle and sacrifice of the War, the Days of Wild, the Temptation of the Glamorous Life and search for a Love Bizarre that stood in the Path 2 the Everlasting Now. Expect a cameo from Camille. May we live 2 see the Dawn, or at least find the Ladder.

How would you relate Prince to Hendrix?
To what extent did Prince explicitly acknowledge Jimi?
Because he evoked him strongly & was implicitly indebted to him (not just him obviously). By the end - that probably wasn't a problem - because everyone knew all that anyway...

Fast forward to 3:28 for the fireworks.... (one example of Prince's chops). Prince at the Hall of Fame w/ an all-star cast doing while my guitar gently weeps).

The Drummer Stream is thrilled to present a brand-new program which is coming up next and will be airing every Thursday, 10pm-midnight (ET):
It's THE COOL BLUE FLAME WITH LITTLE DANNY, live from Marfa, Texas:
"Postwar atmospherica. High bop modernism and Afro-Latin sounds, twilight exotica and soundtrack moods, soul stompers and weepers, hypnotic R&B and blues, mystical '60s pop, lonely country, lonelier rock 'n' roll, instrumental weirdness, electronic creaking. Bringing worlds beyond into the worlds at hand."
Stay tuned in and head over to Little Danny's playlist and welcome him to the Drummerverse!
