Before the Katz & Kasenetz vapor-band Crazy Elephant's “Gimme, Gimme Good Lovin'” the hit's vocalist Robert Spencer wrote “My Boy Lollipop” ! “Gimme, Gimme"'s co-writer Ritchie Cordell co-wrote “Indian Giver,” after “Mony, Mony” and “I Think We're Alone Now” with Tommy James ! . . . . and produced albums Joan Jett's “I Love Rock 'n' Roll” and Ramones' “Subterranean Jungle.” (Ramones covered K&K hits “Indian Giver” and “Little Bit o'Soul” btw!) . . . . while its other co-writer Joey Levine co-wrote and sang “Yummy, Yummy, Yummy” and to this day tons of commercial jingles (Mounds/Almond Joy).
