Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:05pm

Tell Micky I say wassup.

last week I woke up to Micah playing "Unattended In the Dungeon"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:08pm

Whoa!!! That is nuts @MB$. My favorite Micky solo song that sounds like the basement levels of Super Mario Bros.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:12pm

Tell Peter I say "hey how's it goin'"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:13pm
Uncle Michael:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:20pm

@UM, I know I displayed an otter, like, just a few weeks ago but they are just irresistible.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:26pm
listener james from westwood:

That "Buffalo Stance" video probably cost like $800 but it was incredible.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:26pm

Wot is HE LOIKE???
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:31pm
listener james from westwood:

1989. Axial year for me. Especially that summer.
Rich in NC:

Hi Amanda

Shoot, missed Greg Kihn. But I think it's spelled without the first "r": Beserkley.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:38pm

Hi Rich!
Rich in NC:

great show as usual !
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:41pm
listener james from westwood:

dig this "Bang! Bang!" cover!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:43pm

Hi Dean! It is fixed. I would be nowhere without your nitpicking

If only I applied the same rigor to my own writing!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:46pm

Youze can tell I am a Barry Mann fan I suppose
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:53pm

Beautiful Gram track, Amanda, one you don't hear much
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:07pm

listener james from westwood:

That "Gone with the Wind" tease at the Simpsons' w/ that one bit of sad music always kills me.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:24pm
Ken From Hyde Park:

What's the spelling of the fake name that Bart gave the guru? Rutiger / Rudiger / Rudager? Something else? The name itself is hilarious to me.
Avatar 1:25pm

"it smells funny in there."
"no it doesn't."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:26pm
Ken From Hyde Park:

@steve - Yeah, "No it doesn't" is what I use on my kids all the time.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:28pm
listener james from westwood:

OMFG the chair in the garbage disposal is one of the top sight gags in the show. so random!
Hackensack Slim:

As opposed to the "Do What We Say Festival"
Avatar 1:36pm

oh right, it was Albert Brooks. never realized that.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:40pm

BTW, lately I've been using Frinkiac to essentially "watch" a whole episode over again, which is super easy to do if you have seen it a bunch of times... the shots paired with quotes jog your memory immediately. It is really the greatest site
Avatar 1:44pm

it is. a few weeks ago i was trying to find the post-classic Simpsons episode with the line "they're stealin the tire fire!" and Frinkiac came to the rescue!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:48pm
listener james from westwood:

BTW, dig the new icon, Amanda. "Bob" Dobbs would approve of the pipe.
David W:

When I was 12 I was in a band and we pretended to be too snobby to play Monkees tunes, but actually they were kind of hard. We played House of the Rising Sun pretty well. Great show!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:50pm
Ken From Hyde Park:

Thanks for the show today, Amanda. See you anotter time.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:52pm

Oh, those Monkees tunes are no joke! Thanks David! And thanks James, still trying to achieve perfect Slack
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:59pm
listener james from westwood:

Thanks, Amanda, and enjoy your Wednesday away!

Thanks for everything you pack in these two hours, and for the unique pleasure of your company once a week. (Most weeks)
