I play music that is old and that is new. Some of it is digital while some is analog. It is from many different countries; sometimes it is loud and at other times it is quiet.

Someone needs to name their next WFMU premium CD Invocation of the Aural Slave Gods.
  5:30pm david:

Good evening!
Avatar 5:35pm Mayuko:

Invocation of the Aural Slave Gods marathon premium sounds pretty gothy to me, though not sure if I get the nuance right. It sounds good to me anyway!
Good evening, david!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:40pm listener james from westwood:

Keep that one on hold for Julie of Dark Night of the Soul, then!
  5:53pm Dave B.:

  6:26pm Dave B.:

Uncle Too Bad
Avatar 6:28pm Mayuko:

Uncle Too Bad. Not only with dads but also not much luck with uncles either.
  6:29pm Dave B.:

You missed a good rooftop movie. I think in July it'll be Ashik Kerib (probably on the 30th)... Look it up!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:46pm Ken From Hyde Park:

I think Danne owes Mayuko some Oreos for all this!
Avatar 6:49pm Mayuko:

I suppose I will have less blood sugar and problematic influences from Dave Hill and Danne on my English learning process!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:51pm Doug Schulkind:

With humility and delight, I am pleased to be filling in for the wonderful Kim Sorise's Global Grease. I'll be on the stream from 7 to 9pm ET.

Sam Segal follows with the divine If You Lose Your Horse broadcast, 9pm-midnight (ET). Here is the where all the action will happen:

Don't touch that mouse!
Avatar 6:53pm Mayuko:

Thanks, james! I wonder if any Madonna stuff has been played at fmu much to begin with.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:59pm listener james from westwood:

Here and there but it's rare. Wanna say Sheila B and Therese. Wide-open territory!

And of course, thanks muchly for the show!
Avatar 7:01pm Mayuko:

Thank you james, and everyone for listening! Have a beautiful week, all.
  9:48pm mzzmz:

Placed an order getting "Streets Of Lhasa /Sublime Frequencies " & "Why The Mountains Are Black: Primeval Greek Village Music" CD.
Avatar 7:27pm Mayuko:

oh wow! so glad you liked them, mzzmz. thanks for listening!
Avatar 4:13pm fred:

What a great show! That Siouxsie track reminded me of high school. By the end of that I was about the only one who liked Rhapsody. Now I'm afraid to listen to that track, I would probably hate hit.
I heard a guy playing as Holzkopf this week, some dance/noise hybrid I think you'd love. Last minute show in the basement of an African restaurant, so I don't have any info about him
Avatar 6:00pm Mayuko:

Sorry for my late response - is it maybe the guy from Vancouver? Think I found his bandcamp and I like some of his stuff I've heard so far - will dig some more!
Avatar 1:40pm fred:

That's probably him: there's definitely a Vancouver connection, there were a few people from there that night
