Every show starts with the ’70s! We’ll rediscover forgotten rockers, revisit unfairly maligned disco beats and replay power-pop favorites. Next: plenty of new releases, occasional live bands and more. Don’t let the nickname confuse you.

Evan… What is this? www.instagram.com...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:07pm Figgsrock:

Man, this Moxy vocalist sounds like the brother of Mike Reno from Loverboy.
Avatar 9:07pm geezerette:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:10pm Alex of Chicago:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:11pm efd:

@Figgsrock in his Rynoski days! :D
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:11pm Figgsrock:

EFD, I honestly had no idea it was the real Mike Reno when I posted that initial comment. Praise Wikipedia for hipping me to that fact.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:13pm efd:

that won't last too long, Alex!

This is even better than I imagined. Wow.
  9:18pm JakeGould:

This is exactly like finding out your science teacher and social studies teacher have a band at the last student assembly.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:19pm Figgsrock:

No. Way. This reminds me of Marty and Elaine from The Dresden in L.A.

Please tell me you got it for like $2.
  9:23pm JakeGould:

@efd: With your permission, may I post a transcription of the back cover “blurb” from “We Have Two?”
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:23pm efd:

Let me read it on the air first.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:24pm efd:

@figgs, it might even have been $1.
  9:26pm JakeGould:

@efd: Mama mia! I hope you have a glass of water near you when you do that!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:32pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...it makes me miss Jason Elbogen's program - tho' 'We Have Two' maybe isn't exactly that - he was into this aspect of collecting....
  9:34pm JakeGould:

Best details “We Have Two” comes from a Japanese (of course) LP store website. www.groovenutrecords.net...
  9:38pm Bob Ham:

My hope is that a member of We Have Two calls into WFMU after hearing himself on the radio.
  9:40pm JakeGould:

I transcribed that so Google can give “We Have Two” some extra whatever points:

From someone that has spent many years in the entertainment field, it is a great pleasure for me to have the opportunity to make a few comments on “We Have Two” and their exciting new album, since all the songs contained in it are part of their regular live performances.

The first time that I heard of their show, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of good overall sound generated by just two people, and, also, by their degree of professionalism. An add bonus is a good clean show — These guys are gentlemen, both on and off the stage.

I personally enjoy the mix of songs they have selected for this album and find it great for sitting back listening, or for dancing with your favorite partner. You can dance cheek-to-cheek to the soft music of “Don’t You Love Me Anymore” or get your circulation going with “Good Hearted Woman”, then sit back and reminisce with the good solid “50’s Medley.”

I certainly hope you enjoy this album as I have.
