Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:15pm listener monica:

true gospel music.
Avatar 12:16pm V Priceless:

'Godspell' is quite a brilliant soundtrack, too, IMHO...just sayin'....
  12:16pm Polyus:

When the revived stage production with Ted Neely was in town many years ago, we happened to be driving by as the stage crew was loading out. So of course we rolled down the window and said "Hey, what's the buzz, tell me what's a-happening?" Boy did we think that was clever.
Avatar 12:17pm Cecile:

someone could do a good article/documentary on that soundtrack's influence on today's rock. For a lot of people it was the first rock album allowed in their house.
  12:18pm Cooh John:

Nice show.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:18pm listener monica:

Was Texas as bad as U-Ron said it was? Worst bad cop story?

What are your thoughts on the militarization of law enforcement these days?

What's your favorite food?

  1:26pm Dean:

Apropos of his insightful remarks about gender, this recent statement by Chelsea Manning: "We don't need the military to be the gatekeeper of our gender expression and identity," Manning wrote. "We should be able to define ourselves."
Avatar 1:30pm Cecile:

that's why live theatre is becoming popular with the kids.
Avatar 1:31pm Cecile:

they have to be in the moment, and usually you can't record it.

Live theater--be it professional, amateur, community, high school...--is sui generis, nothing like it, nothing as aesthetically rewarding.

Avatar 2:35pm V Priceless:

he's a keyboard player too...it's a 'live band' performance. There's some recently archived material from Primavera sound on FMU and on yootube ,etc..plus, I think (fun fact alert) Dave Davies' son is his guitarist!

Wow, that is super cool, thanks for the info!
