Nova Scotia is a big tourist place in the summer, so there are festivals of all kinds, special events, especially on the water, and a lot of music performances for a small place.
Our National broadcaster, the CBC, has given plenty of airplay to the music of the native people of the country over the years but it is still a pretty small scene. Not too many throat singers on tour:-)
