Avatar 3:01pm Wild Neil:

PEACE Irwin et al!
  3:02pm berbo:

but we'll use them sparingly.
  3:03pm SeanG:

Hi Irwin. Who plays drums on this track? the fills are epic!
Avatar 3:04pm Wild Neil:

@berbo-I wholeheartedly agree.
  3:05pm spodiodi:

Nice playlist image, Irwin
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:08pm Wendy del Formaggio:

I'm happy I moved back to Vermont, but sad I don't live in Jersey City anymore and will miss the Boogarins' show tonight at Monty Hall. Waah.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:09pm Michael:

Hi ho Irwin.
Avatar 3:09pm Wild Neil:

@Wendy-there are some really great things in Vermont. Skiing! other stuff too...you are lucky!
  3:09pm SeanG:

sounds like mac demarco
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:11pm Michael:

Wendy - I work with a Vermonter who sent me this:
  3:17pm SeanG:

sounds like sunset
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:19pm Wendy del Formaggio:

Wild Neil: Are you serious? Skiing? What do I look like, a yuppie? I can't afford that shit. Yes, I know there are plenty of nice things in Vermont. I didn't move here because I was kidnapped.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:21pm Wendy del Formaggio:

Michael, my condolences to your co-worker. I try to avoid most of those things on that site. Tourists. Eww.
Avatar 3:22pm Wild Neil:

@Wendy-I go snowboarding once a year if I'm lucky, I know lift tickets are REALLY expensive....it sucks....cross country skiing is cool and very inexpensive too....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:23pm Michael 98145:

"Vermont is first in the nation for breweries and brew pubs per capita."
Avatar 3:24pm Wild Neil:

Funny also that such a liberal-leaning state should have such lenient gun laws!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:24pm pinholga:

Regular Matt Valentine shows are a definite Vermont perk. Also for quality free activates, I highly recommend the Cabot factory tour.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:24pm Wendy del Formaggio:

Wild Neil: I've lived here on and off since 1991. I am well acquainted with things to do here. Most of them involve being indoors.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:25pm Michael:

Wendy, she sent it to me because her aunt and uncle are the maple syrup producers pictured. She’s from way up north but goes home often (we’re in Boston) and keeps me supplied with very fresh syrup so there’s that.
Avatar 3:26pm Monica:

love this stew song - so great.
Avatar 3:26pm Wild Neil:

Eating pancakes and waffles-indoors-sounds awesome, especially with Vermont-made maple syrup. Yum!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:26pm Wendy del Formaggio:

Michael 98145: The brew-pub thing. That's not exactly a perk.
Regular Michael: Maple syrup is crucial! And it's expensive. Keep your co-worker in your good graces.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:27pm Wendy del Formaggio:

Wild Neil: We have excellent pancakes and waffles here. This time of year the wild blueberries are in-season, so extra incentive.
  3:28pm Agent Peter:

flatlanders! <shakes head>
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:30pm spodiodi:

To the great indoors!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:31pm Michael:

Wendy - always in good graces. Her family is from the area of the Hill Farmstead Brewery where she stopped this past weekend.
  3:44pm Listening Out There:

Wing. Now we're talkin'...
Avatar 3:45pm cee:

this is my spirit song. this very version
  3:47pm Polyus:

She is the wing beneath my wind.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:51pm Wendy del Formaggio:

Mere seconds in, and this Wing number is totally making my day.
Avatar 4:06pm cee:

haha this background music
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:08pm Parq:

Hi, everyone. Hi Wendy, especially. I *love* mountain wild blueberries.
  4:08pm invisibleste:

This is great! "I'm always wet and naked when you call."
  4:16pm berbo:

begging the question - what *is* his show about?
  4:18pm invisibleste:

This is going for $545 bucks on Joe Frank's website. Ouch...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:19pm Wendy del Formaggio:

Hi Parq!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:19pm Irwin:

What is?
  4:20pm invisibleste:

@Irwin: The Other Side. All 71 episodes of it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:20pm Irwin:

  4:21pm invisibleste:

Ah. that's a bit more within my budget.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:22pm Irwin:

That's less per show than if you purchased them individually. Joe deserves to make a living.
  4:27pm Fredericks:

I like the episodes where Joe incorporates Jack Kornfield talks. Joe didn't get permission and Jack didn't care.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:33pm Mike East:

@Fredericks- that's interesting...do you know if he was just an audience member at the talks with a tape recorder, or if he got the recordings elsewhere?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:37pm Irwin:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:38pm Carmichael:

I'm here and mostly listening, mostly. Oops, 2 adverbs, sorry.
  4:42pm f0f0 (:

Hi, Irwin, people!

Please, Does someone knows the song being played in the background during this Frank's monologue? Irwin, does Frank credits it? Thanks
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:43pm Irwin:

Don't know, fofo.
  4:45pm f0f0 (:

Aww, thanks, Irwin. I'm obsessed with it. So beautiful.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:47pm Mike East:

@fofo - I agree. Think that's my favorite JF bed.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:48pm Mike East:

We have Kornfield's "A Path with Heart" on our bookshelf, but I haven't cracked it. My wife enjoyed it, though.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:58pm Michael 98145:

Guess i never realized Joe Frank had an IMDB page: www.imdb.com...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:01pm Mike East:

I rented the Game just because I wanted to see Joe Frank in it for 5 seconds.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:02pm Irwin:

Joe had a book that was in print for about 5 seconds. He was embarrassed by it, won't discuss it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:03pm Greg from ZONE 5:

@Mike: I did the same thing in college!
  5:07pm Fredericks:

Mr. East, I know Jack has tapes of his talks available. Probably some aired on a non-commercial radio station. I don't know how Mr. Frank became familiar with him.
This Will Destroy You sounds like the name of a metal band.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:17pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...if you rip Calypso Artistes for their royalties - can you say you're a pirate of the Caribbean?
  5:18pm Fredericks:

Hey Irwin, wasn't there a popular Calypso singer named "Prince" something/something or the the other?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:18pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...who knew Hal9000 was a Les&Mary fan...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:19pm Irwin:

Yes, Prince, Duke, Baron, King, Lord, and other titles of British nobility.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:21pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

McCartney says when he got out there - he was greeted w/ 'We are both subjects of the Queen!' - & John Lydon said 'God Save the Queen' got him instant cred there...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:32pm Carmichael:

Wow, this Sun Dial is psychedelic!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:33pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Has just become a Sun Dial enthusiast.
  5:37pm Fredericks:

Prince Buster?!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:39pm Irwin:

There was a Prince Buster, but I think he was reggae. Big diff.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:43pm Linda Lee:

what a brilliant show today Irwin! this Lee Morgan is sublime.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:44pm Linda Lee:

thanks so much for making a beautiful day even better.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:45pm Irwin:

Had that Morgan tune going thru my head for a week and finally had to EXORCISE IT.
Avatar 5:45pm V Priceless:

thanks Irwin - super-cool FC Kahuna track, too!
  5:46pm wild neil:

wild neil loves loves loves fc kahuna!
  5:48pm Fredericks:

Kahuna sounded like Morcheeba when I was out of doors.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:50pm chris:

echoing praise and gratitude for your show today, Irwin. life is kicking my butt, and this has been good rx
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:51pm Irwin:

Our listeners are like lab rats whose brains are wired with electrodes which constantly stimulate the pleasure centers.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:51pm Carmichael:

Your statement should go on the homepage, Irwin.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:52pm Michael 98145:

so, THAT's why we cannot stop listening
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:53pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...this dopamine trigger is dope yo...
  5:58pm Listening Out There:

Good stuffs, as usual...
  5:59pm Fredericks:

From out of doors MI3 sound like NRBQ.
