My deep apologies for dropping a—hopefully caught—f-bomb, Pat. Literally the first time I have ever done anything like that.

@KenFromHydePark: Maybe. But I washed the money in the sink after the incident so technically it was cleaner than even before it fell in the bowl.

Also, I don’t want to call in again, but I just remember I was working on making linoleum tile prints in junior high school. Where you carve a print into the linoleum and it’s like a big rubber stamp.

So they paired us off so one kid held down the linoleum block and the other did the carving. A pal of mine held down the block, and I had the carving knife. I pushed hard on it, and it just popped out too quickly after I cut it and gashed him right between his fingers. Blood everywhere.

Fin.

In the early 90s I got a bootleg VHS of a Japanese movie called "Tetsuo: The Iron Man," which was described to me as "what it would look like if David Cronenberg and David Lynch teamed up and made a movie together." I watched it while my then-wife was making dinner. She asked me to turn it off because the movie's audio was making her nauseous.
