  2:06pm Uncle Michael:

I was at the Matthew Sweet show in Omaha on Saturday night. It was really great.
  2:09pm Uncle Michael:

I thought the band was really great the Rhythm Section we're a couple of guys that have been playing with Matthew since the girlfriend album.
Avatar 2:12pm Joe B:

cool. havent seen him in a while, i think i am due
  2:13pm Uncle Michael:

I didn't realize that work began in Omaha. Makes sense they rehearse for it there Matthew lives there.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:23pm Carmichael:

I thought this was Syd Barrett, but nah too melodic ...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:30pm Spankyflop:

Is anybody going to the Surf Music festival in Asbury Park?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:31pm ChrisB.:

@Spanky: I am looking forward to it!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:33pm Spankyflop:

I only know Messur Chups, are any of the other bands worth checking out?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:36pm ChrisB.:

A lot of local bands. Went last year and had a great time. The venue this year is on the boardwalk; much more conducive to the Surf vibe than Asbury Lanes during daylight hours.
Avatar 2:47pm David Shortell:

Once again, the Surf Fest coincides with the Promenade of Mermaids. I had to miss both events last year after driving all over the town's east side in a fruitless search for a parking space.
Avatar 2:51pm David Shortell:

Oh, and I recently discovered the hard way that the Pay Stations (new rate: $2/hour, everyday till midnight) don't give change!
  2:53pm Bluesman:

I haven't gotten a g-damned thing done at work since 12:15 today. I wonder why?
