Down the rabbit hole re:Dana Gillespie. "She is a follower of the Indian spiritual guru Sri Sathya Sai Baba.[7] She performed at his Indian ashram on various occasions, and has also recorded thirteen bhajan-based albums in Sanskrit." via wikithingy.

Cooh John:

Goooood morning, Micah and fellow listeners. What if we could get all these 'one true enlightened ones' together in one room?.

I was in a situation like that once with two (false) true prophets. If passive aggression could make bodies levitate, there would have been a lot of flying.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:21am

the fmu cult is the most pernicious of all because it offers no salvation except listening to the goddam radio all day
Avatar 7:22am

there would be a false sense of togetherness, then ....xlowly, chaos will erupt with bloated egos.
Avatar 7:23am

i like this because i dan dance to it.

I know a few former residents of the Farm.
Avatar 7:53am

we had an off-shoot of them in delaware county NY; we hung out with them, i liked them a lot. many of them moved into the upstate sytem, became teachers and such, one couple have become born-again christians, but they're still hippies. we liked the group cause one of them drove a kharman gia

The bunch I knew went back to the Bay Area and were involved with Co-Evolution Quarterly, Whole Earth Catalog, Stewart Brand, The Well, etc. Smart, capable, inventive people, the lot of them.

Unsung group...their second album is especially good and as clear a signpost to so-called "Americana" as was the Band's "Music From Big Pink."
