A year earlier Short had been at my house when I showed him the EPK for Luniz from Noo Trybe that he had not seen - I had just gotten it and they diss him in interview which fueled already ongoing feud with C+H/Luniz/DruDown camp    0:45:20 (Pop-up)

Billy Jam:

coming out of Oakland CA but "floating toward New Jersey" this show will feature a lot of new music including from new albums by Invisibl SKratch Piklz and Danny Deepo + plus some classic Too $hort. Dedicated to Gene Wilder who passed this past week and who is sampled saying "floating toward new jersey" - this show will also include a rare Jan 1996 interview with Too $hort - a time when people were telling him his career was over and when KMEL had banned him/his music, inspiring a track on his then forthcoming album "Getting it" album number ten. . 20 years later he is still going strong - at Hiero Day on Monday as well as Invisibl Skratch Piklz also going strong all these years later - shout out to Qbert Shortkut and D-Styles who are official members of ISP and artists who recorded new album that drops next week Sep 9

Among the latest ongoing rap battles to take it up a notch is the feud between Talib Kweli and Wu-Tang affiliate Remedy, who last week unveiled the track "120"
which, after their back-n-forth dispute on Twitter, and in response to Talib's "You Tried It" diss - Remedy's going directly at Talib Kweli with his side of the story. It is 120 bars straight over a Wu-Tang medley of beats. Hip Hop, race, and politics, all in one. Remedy is a hip-hop artist, producer, and label owner affiliated with Wu-Tang, most known for his Holocaust tribute "Never Again", which appeared on the 'Wu Tang: The Swarm' album. He also is the executive producer of Inspectah Deck's 'Manifesto' album, Cappadonna's 'The Struggle' album, and 'Wu-Tang: The Pollen' album. He has released 3 solo albums titled, 'The Genuine Article', 'Code Red', and 'It All Comes Down To This', and is prepping an album with Killah Priest entitled 'Holy of Holies'.
