Ammonia Subway? I did my shift at the food co-op last night and someone broke a bottle of tea tree oil. I'd love ammonia instead of that.

And... Hello!

Oh well Jake - a natural antiseptic, antifungal spill...I'm actually fond of the stuff...
Hullo Fayethful.

They use tea tree oil to treat skin infections. It's packed with tocopherols. Don't use it internally, it's poisonous.

It's volatile - smells somewhere twixt eucalyptus & turpentine, granted...
Avatar 5:35pm

Mixed with lemongrass oil, the tea tree oil isn't so bad. It's good for athlete's foot fungus.

Hey! The name of the show changed!!

I'd answer the radio station phone when I did a show just so I could refuse to play any requests that were made. I aimed to (not) please!

Cheri Pi:

I used to dread leaving home for vacation as I hated to leave my cats. My mom always brings up Schrödinger's box to ease this anxiety and it always works. So we get home to my inner city apartment after a week away and my cat greets us in the parking lot. Fell from the 3rd floor. She was fine.
  5:58pm
JakeGould:

Quantum missing persons can be missing and non-missing at the same time.

Also Schrödinger was mean towards cats.
  5:59pm
JakeGould:

@listenermark: Nobody who worked the 8:30pm to 11:00pm shift last night will get the funguses.

Avatar 6:23pm

I'm missing the point. Something either is or isn't. Investigation determines which is which. "Not knowing" is a lack of perception, it's not a state in and of it's self.
Avatar 6:24pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Depends on which Cosmologist you favor.
  6:25pm
JakeGould:

Le Secret is pretty nice.
Avatar 6:29pm

An analogy would be the temperature of outer space. A thermometer measures it's own temperature not the space surrounding it. So how can scientists measure the temperature of a void without influencing the results.
Avatar 6:30pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...yeah, I think post-Quantum, the idea is maybe it's not either/or - but possibly both...
  6:32pm
Old Dave:

Faye-
Great show! Some neighbors popped over just now and probably won't leave until the beer runs out.
One was coveting my FMU chipmunk shirt until I showed her the house paint on it.
I think you have some new fans!
  6:39pm
Ahmad:

Still find it amusing that a member of this band was in Double Dagger. Peals are about as far as it gets from that band yet equally great.
  6:43pm
Dean:

"Something either is or isn't" is true. If that something is a cat, it either is or it isn't. Similarly, an indeterminate system either is or it isn't. Schrödinger was puzzling over the divide between something=thing and something=system.

Let's all consider lowest common denominator theory as we enjoy the debates tomorrow! These are not the candidates we need, although probably those we deserve for being sheeple.
One will be elected and the other not. Quantum theory need not apply... sorry.
Entropy is more like it.
