Avatar 6:29am

We have the heat on in upstate ny. It's starting to look like Fall.
Avatar 6:30am

Appropriate song. summer magic is gone
Avatar 6:32am

good. seems that seasonal changes are about a month behind. we still have green leaves and even the maples are green.dogwoods started turning a week or so ago. the sensory guage i use is the crunching of fallen leaves as children trick-or treat.
Avatar 6:37am

pop-quiz: is it "fiery" or "firey"
Avatar 6:39am
Sem Chumbo:

Hello, Micah and good morning. Hello, annie and the duke.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:39am
Ken From Hyde Park:

Depends what you're describing, annie. The foliage or the foilage?
Avatar 6:41am

oh!!! right.. the foilage, sorry...i was just reading a headline from a raleigh paper spelling the word that means "hot" as firey. is that allowable? i have to look that up
Avatar 6:44am
Sem Chumbo:

Baked-on striped paint and a loincloth.
Avatar 6:48am

running into the kitchen to make a nother pot of coffee... it takes 7 minutes-ish.
Avatar 6:49am
Sem Chumbo:

"Fiery", I think: good explanation of that spelling here:www.merriam-webster.com...
Avatar 7:02am
the Canterbury wood-elf:

@Micah. I had to look up Pat Cool (they sounded very much like a humorless Egg). They were Dutch.
Avatar 7:03am

far out, sem! thanks.. i wonder what "Good Word" has to say about that.
Cooh John:

Good morning everyone. Comments list is on fire.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:03am
Wynford Eagle:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:04am

Avatar 7:04am
Sem Chumbo:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:06am

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:15am

Future science is the most exciting of all the sciences

this is great radio. gladly having my mind controlled
Avatar 7:17am

"By 2050—earlier, probably—all real knowledge of Oldspeak will have disappeared. The whole literature of the past will have been destroyed. Chaucer, Shakespeare, Milton, Byron—they’ll exist only in Newspeak versions, not merely changed into something different, but actually contradictory of what they used to be. Even the literature of the Party will change. Even the slogans will change. How could you have a slogan like “freedom is slavery” when the concept of freedom has been abolished? The whole climate of thought will be different. In fact there will be no thought, as we understand it now. Orthodoxy means not thinking—not needing to think. Orthodoxy is unconsciousness."

— George Orwell, 1984
as much as i hate the progression of language into the abyss of texting and emoji, i'm still curious where it will all go.
Avatar 7:21am
Sem Chumbo:

I imagine a lobotomy to feel something like this sounds.
Cooh John:

Tanks, SC.
Avatar 7:28am

"If you want a vision of the future, imagine a lobotomy of a human brain - forever."
Avatar 7:29am

Perelandra in Virginia bases much of their work on the practices from findhorn. i'm a firm believer.
Cooh John:

Right you are, duke. We need everyone to be critical and free-thinkers.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:35am
Ken From Hyde Park:

I would swear the Findhorn Singers had a place in the Lion King movies.
Avatar 7:47am

here's a wacky/intriguing concept to research when you have nothing to do: The Mount Shasta Mission.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:52am

yea im pretty sure thats an I AM/Ascended master teaching based group
Avatar 7:54am
Wildflower Soul:

I'm about an hour behind. Ganga and Hess. Gotta see that based on the "sounds from".
Avatar 7:55am

she does work with "ascended masters" which really has me struggling to wrap my mind around it. she professes to have regular conversations with "Masters" such as Eisenhower.

Oh this is the best cult music ever!!! Where do I sign up???!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:58am

uh, well, were on facebook
Avatar 8:13am

Gotta go to the knowledge factory. Thanks for the cult sounds

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:46am

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:47am

It's a good one.
Avatar 8:48am

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:49am

It's called Holy Hell.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:49am

I think Young Man was Lou Reed's theme on Dean & Britta's 13 Most Beautiful.
Avatar 8:50am

oh!!! i thought that was an exclamation... thanks
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:51am

It does seem like an appropriate response to the film.
Avatar 8:51am
