People argue that Nader didn't split the vote, and maybe he didn't, but if the Green Party were strengthened then they could easily take away votes from Dems without having a chance to actually win because Congress chooses the prez wihtout a majority vote. I'd rather focus on getting better candidates in the pool at local and state levels so they can rise to the top eventually, and this was part of Bernie's message.
