Murray the K's Swingin' Soiree is the show I always compare Music to Spazz By to. Listening to Dave reminds me of the energy and excitement of listening to Murray on Saturday nights when I was a wee child, too young to go out anywhere on weekend nights

when it comes to the alternative music scene there are definitely a lot of boring concert attendees. It seems like a lot of people go to concerts to be cool rather than to enjoy the music itself. Coachella is a good example of this.

I love teenage girl white noise. On The Beach Boys Live in '64 they play the Monster Mash with Mike Love as monster. The screams sound genuine.

Part if it could be that concert attendance in the 60s was mostly a youthful thing whereas nowadays older - less excited people - make up most of the audience due to prohibitively high ticket prices.

Wow, when I think I could've purchased tickets at Orange Julius for the Stooges giving a "bizarre" performance at this "acoustically and visually perfect" America theater... Fate stuck me in the wrong part of the country at that time
