True story: In the late '70s I worked for a public agency in Whittier that had a community meeting room called the Nixon Room. A supervisor asked me to set up for a film screening. I asked, "In the Nixon Room?" The supervisor glared and through clenched teeth corrected me: "The multi-purpose room."

our band ("the catalyst") in high school, at the talent show we were allowed 3 songs and 10 min. max. we (supposedly) planned to give the finger and play i'm so bored with the usa after our 3 songs. we finished the 3 in 7-8 minutes anyway, but the goodie-goodie "punk rocker" guitarists chickened out.
