Saw a great show this week, Richard Thompson, he took requests from the audience on slips of paper, put them in a bowl and played the ones he picked. Great version of "You'll Never Walk Alone" off the cuff, also great "And Your Bird Will Sing", had some trouble with The BEatles "I Will", but it was really fun. Worth catching if he's in the neighborhood.

The vocals on the Chi-Po-Po-Baby song are all in the left, while the instruments are on the right, so you can turn off the left to do karaoke or the right, to reuse the instrumental part.

That track was coming out of the Third Stream tradition. It was a late-'50s/early-'60s movement that brought together elements of "jazz" and "classical."
