January 4, 2017: Senior Dating Turns Into Flat Lollipops vs Spherical Ones
The first show of 2017 features a new innovation - Tony, the automated countdown announcer, who supplies "time left" updates every fifteen seconds. Along with Tony, Evan Breckman joins Ken and Andy in studio! Many of Evan's classmates call in and roundly agree that Evan is hilarious. Fresh from separate vacations in Michigan, Andy and Ken introduce an intriguing idea for the show - they look for two or more callers who have lonely senior citizens in their lives, with a plan to match two seniors as friends. The phone lines however are fairly quiet until Andy calls an audible and changes the discussion to flat vs round lollipops, which turns out to be a very hot topic!
