@Parq, of course I get it, but she likes punk-rock, screamo pop-metal,
guess it must be as you say...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:36pm

@doctorjazz, I like punk rock and some metal, and the Muffs leave me cold. For me, it's the generic changes. Nothing surprises me about the Muffs. Just one person's reaction. Cheers.

Oh, this is a girl we're talking about? I double the emphasis of everything I said above. I speak from experience when I say, you *can not* get your teenage daughter to like music you suggest to her. Just save yourself some heartache and don't even start. Trust me.
Avatar 2:45pm
Scraps:

@parq: Well, maybe you are extending a 100% principle that is probably not 100%....
Avatar 2:46pm

though he's probably in a better position as a brother that as a father....

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:47pm
doctorjazz:

they're all different, of course, I have an older daughter, took her to see Richard Thompson, and she's been checking out his catalog ever since. The younger, it's her way or the highway. Instead of me influencing her, she got me to love All Time Low (I did manage to get her interested in ELO once, Do Ya knocked her out).

Richard Thompson is the proper way to raise a child.
