Ridgewood Radio features concert recordings by adventurous bands and experimental musicians and restored archival tapes from private and institutional collections captured at venues large and small across the five boroughs of New York. It is produced by David Weinstein and Outpost Artists Resources operating out of the Ridgewood section of Queens, NY, where you'll find more yellow bricks than on the road to Oz and the cemetery of your choice is never more than a few blocks from home.

	2:16pm Scraps: I love Oliver Lake, have lots of him, but don't have his organ quartet. Listening avidly!
	2:19pm Mark R: Love this Oliver Lake set, and I love the entire concept of your show. Your recording quality is for the most part excellent.

	♥ 2:23pm weinstein: Thanks you all. We try to get all the variables to align but sometimes a great performance is a challenge to record, but I consider those for the show as well.
	♥ 2:24pm weinstein: I have not made a deal with the FMA for the individual bits of the show. Probably should.
	2:24pm Mark R: This recording sounds quite good. And of course, the playing is fantastic.
	2:25pm Mark R: I do an overnight show Sunday nights/Monday mornings, and it would be cool to play some of this stuff.

	🥁 ♥ 2:55pm doctorjazz: Going to hear Joe Lovano/Dave Douglas Soundprints tonight, too bad I don't tape (actually tried a bit of taping live music years back, didn't work for me, I couldn't concentrate on the taping and the music, also had to sneak stuff in back then).

	♥ 2:59pm weinstein: You have to love or at least tolerate the job of crawling across the floor stringing cables and being in everyone's way.

	🥁 ♥ 3:04pm doctorjazz: A friend did a recording (authorized) of Nels Cline at Johnny Brendas in Philly, with Gerald Cleaver and Larry Ochs, had decent gear, got a good recording (sounded better on the recording than it did at the venue, at least from where I was standing), quite a pain to set up, though.
