still trying to think of the song they took the guitar part for killer in the home from...
-Uncle Michael would know; Joe Belock too...but i can't remember.
Avatar 🦇 Swag For Life Member 1:02am

There really isn't a bad song on that record.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:04am

wild frontier? it's been years! i have to find that; it's here somewhere.
Avatar 🦇 Swag For Life Member 1:06am

yeah and their tour was to celebrate it, playing the whole thing.
Avatar 1:14am

Rumble by Link Wray
Avatar 1:23am

(the guitar part on "Killer in the Home")
Avatar 🦇 Swag For Life Member 1:24am

thanks, Scraps!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:25am

Scraps! i think that's it!
i figured it was either Link Wray or the ventures.
Thanks! (that's the kind of thing keeps me up nights!)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:26am

(i considered Duane Eddy too)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:28am

Lovin the Bowie and this Donovan track
Avatar 🦇 Swag For Life Member 1:36am

ha, thanks Pete..you haven't heard the prog rock yet
Avatar 1:38am
Pete DJ TM5:

Digging the track by the Phil Collins side project too :)

I forgot Phil could play drums. I forgot FM could play Genesis.
Thanks for the reminder.
Avatar 1:41am

loving these tracks...haven't heard that Donovan record in ages, and am now reminded I sometimes like Genesis...
Avatar 🦇 Swag For Life Member 1:43am

those first couple of Phil albums are pretty good. Although I heard Mama today and I still like it.
Avatar 🦇 Swag For Life Member 1:44am

oh sure the ancient LPs played fine and the cd acts up
Avatar 1:45am

I think one of your cd players is not good
Avatar 1:46am

a lot of cds acting up

Trouble in the modern world? Nah, that cannot be it.
Avatar 1:49am

(though a lot of my older cds are getting bad... sigh. but a lot of my albums, when I had albums, went bad in various ways)
Avatar 🦇 Swag For Life Member 1:49am

LPs are more forgiving though. One little flaw on a cd can make it completely unplayable.
Avatar 1:50am
Pete DJ TM5:

loving th e tempers and tara busch
Avatar 🦇 Swag For Life Member 1:54am

has anyone actually seen this movie?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:08am

Nice to hear ya, Julie. You fill in well.
Avatar 🦇 Swag For Life Member 2:08am

thanks Osvi!
Avatar 2:09am

usually one little flaw in a cd will make that part completely unplayable.... but i'm sensing a vinyl vs cd argument, which people mostly have their minds made up. ;-) (i admit i'm on the cd side, mostly)
Avatar 🦇 Swag For Life Member 2:10am

I don't really have a preference, it's all about the music itself. but it's nice to take these old records out and have them still play!
Avatar 2:11am

if they're taken care of, yeah. ;-)
Avatar 2:12am

I wish i had my vinyl now, though. :-(
Avatar 🦇 Swag For Life Member 2:12am

I like the larger art for sure.
Avatar 2:14am

Oh, New York Tendeberry. My late wife loved this album. She turned me on to it.
Avatar 2:15am

Avatar 🦇 Swag For Life Member 2:15am

great record!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:20am

i love lps and get great enjoyment out of cds.
Avatar 2:20am

Mine is still Eli and the 13th Confession, because of its so many hooks. So great. But Tendaberry is a better whole album, start to finish all of it is the same album, if you get what I mean.
Avatar 2:21am

coel, I even have a fondness for 8-tracks
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:23am

nice! 8-tracks have a very warm and rich sound, when everything's in order.
Avatar 2:24am

Okay, now's the time when I lie down and listen. Cheers!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:25am
