Holst is a discernible influence on a fair amount of the science-fiction (and fantasy) film soundtrack music after the 1970s (when there was a revival of interest in _The Planets_).

Justin from Parsippany:

Around 8 years ago, we played this song in my high school band. Our conductor told us the way to remember the rhythm of 5/4 time signature was to repeat "coconut tree and pumpkin pie" to the beat. It strangely worked.

Justin, this guide [http://www.rockfordsymphony.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/YC-2015-The-Planets-Upper-Grades-Study-Guide-FINAL.pdf ] suggests using the phrase "Fourth from the Sun is plan-et Mars..."

Listener Robert:

Would "Ali Baba and the 40 thieves" work too? My little sister used to use that one for counting out in games.
