Good morning!
Leaving early to make sure I can move my car.
Anyone going from Brooklyn into Manhattan, skip the Williamsburg Bridge. Nothing good going on there right now.

37F and overcast here in Nova Scotia, 0 inches of snow from the nor'easter overnight,
Avatar 6:18am John Allen:

Hey Annie, we'll take take! Who else do we have? Glen needs a few more signs that its clear to start giving swag away. Hey Sem!
  6:27am tietannig:

Friendly reminder, make sure everyone gets their cases of beer out of the trunk. Otherwise, your car will smell like Oktoberfest for the next six months. Thanks.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:31am annie:

an article on the Afropop worldwide website says that there are 3 haitian radion stations in flatbush! www.afropop.org...
Avatar Wake Supporter Marathon 2022 Wake Golden Glistener Marathon 2022 Swag For Life Member 6:33am Ken From Hyde Park:

I hope the rumor doesn't get started that 1-800-989-9368 is not the number to call to complain to the mayor that their streets aren't plowed.
  6:37am Schnipp:

The thing is, even if you get up at 550am, you still might not remember to tune in Jonesy until 630, because he and FMU just aren't in the dawn DNA. #NewHabits
Avatar 6:40am John Allen:

Ken, I like that Rumor. Start it, and we'll work it in the phone room to our advantage
  6:43am Jonesey:

Gotta set the alarm clock radio so we can wake up together.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:43am maestroso:

G'morning all! Still haven't gone outside; will have to excavate soon. Digging the show, however.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:44am annie:

interesting thing, that, Schnipp, i had a strict routine to wake for a particular 6-9 show or sleep in. with the dj trials, i really don't get up on purpose to listenand, well, winter, too. depending on who gets the slot..... i may not wake up on purpose to hear the radio. i already know who i want, it's jonesey.
  6:46am Schnipp:

@Annie #Truth
  6:47am Schnipp:

And suddenly we're channeling Bill Kelly.
  6:50am noel:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:10am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Bunnypersons! Shins would be good here...but what you play will probably be better...
  8:10am Lawrence Stevenson:

Post Keith Moon Who = Godfather III. It didn't really happen.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:12am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Zack Starkey? Then they lost Entwistle...I'd still see them & love it I'm sure.
  8:14am Schnipp:

Lawrence, that was great. I just cackled out loud. True. Especially since I'm finally reading The Godfather for the first time. Vito just killed Fanucci in Book III.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:17am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...The Punk Reads The Godfather...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:18am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...if it ain't Hobroken don't fix it...
  8:27am Listener Robert:

Recall how the Accu-Play list started: There was a time when it looked like music licensing fees might either kill non-commercial music radio or limit it to a short playlist. Then the decision was made that made it affordable, but only with timely individual public credit for every piece. I don't know to what extent WFMU pioneered this system, but I remember Ken talking about it in one of the State of the Station anmts, logging of the tracks and putting the info into a useful form for listeners.
  8:29am Jonesey:

The Who still Rock live.
Avatar 8:29am Cheri Pi:

I'm happy now. Good Moorning
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:32am George of Troy:

Good morning, John and Jonesy. Been enjoying the banter this morning while preparing to dig out.

I saw John Entwistle at The Chance Theater in Poughkeepsie in the 90s. It was a pretty good show.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:57am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Personally, three whole hours of Talk is a hard sell for me. But so what.
