1968 preteen:

His '68 album was so wonderfully hysterical, and still is. I met David 10 years ago when he was the audience loudmouth seated on the right shouting somebody for vice-president at a free River-to-River show in Battery Park City, by Booker T. & the MG's and Sharon Jones. He was very cordial when I approached him after the show, and let me eavesdrop on his joking "since last night ha, ha, ha" with Steve Cropper packing up.
