Listener comments!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:12am northguineahills:

This is all new to me, especially from Richard Kirk.
  12:15am Dean:

Been thinking lately about Cabaret Voltaire. Thankful I saw them l-o-n-g ago in LA. Young Marble Giants opened. Must have been right around the Mix Up album, before Voice of America.
Avatar 12:15am Wm.:

a treat! He's all over the map, solo albums mostly great. This particular disc is probably prev. unreleased, came in the 2016 Mute box set of pretty much everything. ...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:16am Listener Howard and the Cats:

I thought this sounded like CV, I've never actually heard any of his solo work before.
Avatar 12:16am Wm.:

@Dean impressive! Can't say I ever had the pleasure
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:17am Listener Howard and the Cats:

Only ever got to see them live once, opening for Neubauten.
  12:18am Dean:

Shoot, I remember playing an early EP in my art history class in college, c.1980. We were studying Dada, etc., so it seemed fitting.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:18am Listener Howard and the Cats:

One of the bands I can thank NIGHT FLIGHT for, that's where I first heard (and saw) them.
Avatar 12:20am Wm.:

@Howard Oddly, I was just thinking about Fear's appearance on New Wave Theater, which got me thinking about Peter Ivers and his unfortunate passing. That show was a Night Flight discovery for me.
  12:21am Dean:

Heh, saw Fear at Al's Bar in LA, too. Guest star, I shit you not, was Il Duce of the Mentors.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:22am Listener Howard and the Cats:

Indeed, and I have also been thinking about those shows lately. Hugely influential on my development, if it can be called that.
Avatar 12:27am Wm.:

Duce! ...I wish I could play those recordings of him in the karaoke booth, "Saggy Mae" etc.
  12:33am Dean:

Never saw The Mentors, dammit, but Fear was a second-best. Truly, the most embarrassing record I know is "Woman from Sodom." Just makes me cower and blush.
Avatar 12:36am Wm.:

@Dean "Sandwich of Love" comes to mind ...
  12:37am Marcel M:

Killer set
  12:38am Dean:

Yeah, got that album, too. Love the stupid pun title, "You Axed for It"!
Avatar 12:39am Wm.:

@Marcel M thanks! I needed rough, fake drums tonight
  12:45am iiii////:

  1:02am Los Angeles:

Hello from LA.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:04am Listener Howard and the Cats:

@Wm. Did you see THE VOID yet?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:05am Listener Howard and the Cats:

That alarm totally made me think you were about to play the theme from THE TICK.
Avatar 1:05am Wm.:

@Howard hahahahaha...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:06am Listener Howard and the Cats:

Don't laugh at me. Everyone else does that enough.
Avatar 1:07am Wm.:

I love the old Tick cartoon. And no...eager to see The Void.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:13am Listener Howard and the Cats:

@Wm. I liked THE VOID very much, looking forward to reading your thoughts on it... Second best movie I've seen this year, the first best being RAW.
Avatar 1:22am Wm.:

Two movies I really want to see! I may just pay for The Void; I have such a full viewing plate, and I spend my $ on music so I tend to wait to be able to see films for free. In a few months, The Void will probably be free on Amazon Prime... Raw is still a mail-order DVD proposition for me, no screens nearby are showing it, maybe NYC but I'm sort of a semi-invalid at the moment. This radio show is mostly what gets me out these days.
Avatar 1:23am Wm.:

ah! To go to the cinema!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:26am upsetter5001:

Evening. You are giving me flashbacks with Bauhaus and Cabaret Voltaire!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:31am Listener Howard and the Cats:

If I was within a few hundred miles radius I'd take you to the cinema! These shows where you play things that are not at all what I expect to hear are so much fun...
  1:36am Eric Hat:

Ah! Watched that film last night.
  2:05am Arvo:

I have been listening and getting a psychic reading.
  2:10am Ronny G from Yorktown:

William please what is the piano riff behind you? It's lovely :')
  2:12am Ronny G from Yorktown:

Also I was craving black metal all day and forgot this show was tonight. very convenient :D
  2:13am Ronny G from Yorktown:

Yes! Thank you :3
  2:14am Ronny G from Yorktown:

  2:24am DJ_Guy:

Rolling high grade and jamming the castle tonight. Thanks for all the big tunes William!
  2:24am DJ_Guy:

Haven't listened to skull flower in a hot min either
Avatar 2:31am Wm.:

@Guy hey man! You've always had a good word for The Castle. Salud!
  2:32am DJ_Guy:

Consistently one of my favorite programs on this fucked up station. Cheers!
Avatar 2:33am Wm.:

[tips hat]
  2:37am jon:

randomly tuned in while spinning the internet radio diall; Skullflower, and whatever you're playing now = AWESOME. thanx
Avatar 2:42am Wm.:

Thanks jon
  2:42am DJ_Guy:

Omg this shit taking me on a weed journey lol
  2:42am Ronny G from Yorktown:

Jon I found them spinning the fm dial in my car last year and never went back. Pretty sure this was the first show I heard also, coming from someone w pretty superficial music tastes it scared me. But then the fear turned into love <3 like how I love this buzzing humming tonal feedback rn
  2:43am Ronny G from Yorktown:

Lmfaooo Guy^ I'm jealous, I only have a little pinch of yucky mids left.
Avatar 2:45am Wm.:
