@Uncle Michael
I loathe the little git Coghlan, but that move is brilliant.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:58pm
Uncle Michael:

What have you got against Coghlan?

That he did it to Molina makes it so, so sweet.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:59pm
Uncle Michael:

Transitional Montez...on A&M, but not his true self yet.
Avatar 10:59pm
geezerette:

funny!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:01pm
Doug Schulkind:

@UM
I agree on the de-pantsing of Molina. But Coghlan has injured at least two players on teams I root for. His takeout slide on the Pirates' Jung Ho Kang was vicious and deserved suspension.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:03pm
Doug Schulkind:

@UM
a.espncdn.com...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:04pm
Uncle Michael:

That slide was legal under the old rule...but of course, led directly to the rules change. And Kang may end up in jail...so to hell with him.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:07pm
Little Danny:

Oh man I love this Spot Barnett so much
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:07pm
Doug Schulkind:

Forget rules, it was a dirty slide with intent to injure. If you see it any other way, you're blinded and delusional.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:08pm
Doug Schulkind:

And this Spot Barnett is wonderful.
Avatar 11:09pm
Mayuko:

That Summertime was very nice.

coghlan's only playing because donaldson's hurt. he'll be shipped back to buffalo when josh comes back.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:11pm
Little Danny:

Wow! That Patti Page!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:11pm
Uncle Michael:

No, I'm not. The rule needed to be changed. It was absolutely a legal slide...and dangerous as hell...and baseball is well rid of the take-out slide. There was no intent to injure. There as intent to disrupt the play, injury be damned. Baseball has corrected this rule. There was nothing unusual about that slide. There was no basis for suspension. He wasn't even ejected. Because it was the precise way millions of baserunners have broken up the double play...and it was legal.
Avatar 11:13pm
Kris Holmes:

The only Patti Page you need!
