	12:15am AdamFromOldeKenzo: I've known Wooden Wand forever and even had this odd, but kind of cool CD by a short lived sort of "trip hop" project called Blood Group. I don't know what happened to it though, I was looking for it the other day, it seems to have disappeared.

Going back further, the black crowes are actually what turned me onto a ton of great music. Their reputation can vary greatly, but their covers send me down this road.

	1:15am zenkoan: So, I was in attendance at this fabled Barton Hall show at Cornell. It's often ranked the best recording of a Dead show ever. Thing is, the sound in the hall itself sucked very seriously. (The place has abysmal acoustics and was used mainly for hockey games.) It was, and remains, an utter amazement to hear what was captured direct to tape.

	2:19am AdamFromOldeKenzo: A Minnesota folkie who I kick myself for never seeing, even though it's my home state is Charlie Parr. Last time I was visiting my parents it turned out he was playing a coffee shop in a tiny town like 25 minutes from my folks' town the day after I was leaving.

Next pay attention to your thoughts and feelings. After each thought, tell yourself: I am neither this nor that. This is not me. This thought is not reality. You may feel desperately all alone, but in reality you are not truly alone. The world is widely inhabited, and you are surrounded by other people. Your feelings do not dictate who you really are. They are simply emotions that rapidly change in importance at any given moment. In truth, you are much, much more than than the thoughts, feelings, and upsetting reactions that cross through your mind. Keep breathing and paying attention. Do this for 5-10 minutes.
