hello! from the Fair Warning Department: last night up here i slept with the down comforter on and had to shut the one window i left open at 3 am because i was cold. and yet right now it's over 85 in my cabin.

any erratic behavior (note: i mean more than usual) should be blamed on the heat.

I don't know why it took so long for real direct references to Hendrix influence in Africa to get thru to me. It's gratifying - & I wonder if Jimi ever knew...
Avatar 🇰🇷 Swag For Life Member 7:43pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...I guess it's simply that such a very narrow band of African music has gotten thru over here from anywhere if you're not proactive about it...
Avatar 7:43pm
hyde:

@Gary, ah, well, i just mean images in general!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:45pm
Gary:

@RevRab, I watched a short doc recently and someone (Ililonga?) said they had sent their first LP to The Rolling Stones
Avatar 🇰🇷 Swag For Life Member 7:53pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

It has has been said that TheBeatles went to India, & the Stones went to Africa. Well - Morocco's a stretch maybe - but point taken...Zambia is South Central Africa - so not the slave Vodoun countries that are the Roots of American Music - but perhaps more Shamanic cultures? Of course I'm thoroughly ignorant of their History...reminded again of Meghan's months long musical travelogue of the whole continent on UnderwaterThemePark...
