How's summer vacation going, @steve?

im at the studio soldering and i might go play pinball later so it's great!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:23am

Hi @sugarwolf!!! Your monorail is looking slick

Thanks!! I kind of don't want to expand it, and keep it as a loop, I feel like that captures the spirit of the pointlessness of it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:34am
Doug Schulkind:

Good morning, Amanda! Good morning, big-eared beauties everywhere!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:38am

What sort of varmint is that lovely l'il pup?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:41am

Hi Stevel! I'm 90% sure he's a Fennec fox.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:47am

I just built the unemployment office so Kirk Van Houten could pick up his unemployment check.

am I way off or does this song have a quacking duck?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:50am

If so, it's in keeping with the rainy day mood intended (kind of) for this set...

DJ Large Margin:

lovin' the rain soundtrack, Amanda. ble$$
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:09am

Aw, thank YOU, @DJ Large Margin!
agent 0042:

Roger Moore was my fav James Bond. "The Spy Who Loved Me" his best - the Lotus sub (tossing the fish on the beach!), the Alpine skiing opening (the Union Jack parachute!), the great soundtrack (disco done right by Marvin Hamlish!): . . . . (no, "Diamonds Are Forever" was his first) . . . "Man With the Golden Gun" was thoroughly dull, though - cars provided by AMC ! ! ! . . . . Caught Moore's 2008 book tour stop in Huntington . . . . (nice Bond theme selection at the marathon)

hi everyone.

Ken From Hyde Park:

I spied a red fox the other morning out foxing around.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:58am

The babies are growing now and starting to walk around... everyone look out!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:06am
Little Danny:

There was a family of foxes living in an empty lot near our house a few years ago. My heart was constantly exploding.

Baby foxes? In NYC? I am in the 4th floor of a 4th floor walk up and I went to open the window and saw a raccoon head pop up from the roof fire escape. The thing climbed down an was just politely peeking in everyone's windows. Weird.

I just found out yesterday you can keep foxes as pets in some states
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:14am

a coyote ran thru the road last week in the morning on my commute. around here it is not uncommon to /hear/ them in the evening hours - it is uncommon to see them, and in the morning.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:15am

So lucky. We get raccoons here, but I've never seen the babies. And I hear that coyotes and coywolves and all those guys are all over NYC but they just hide very well.

Are those the same states you can marry your cousin in?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:16am

@Little Danny -- I've watched eps 1+2 of the new Twin Peaks. Have to rewatch, because I apparently missed a lot. I also have to rewatch the last 2 episodes of Season 2.

ohh shoulda guessed it would be this one! id already given up on new episodes at this point so wasn't as surprised or offended as others were by this one.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:23am
Little Danny:

I'm through eps 1 & 2 at this point too, J2tK. I'm really enjoying the re-immersion, even if none of it makes sense yet. And I'm glad Lynch seems to be really going wide-open either way
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:25am
Sean from Bridgeport:

Two of my favorite lines are from this episode...

"Up yours, children"

“This is Armin’s apartment, Armin’s liquor, Armin’s copy of Swank, Armin’s frozen peas.”
Homer: “Can I see your copy of Swank, Armin?”

I really love this episode. So nice and weird.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:27am
Ken From Hyde Park:

This was a really weird episode for me. Did any episodes after this ever mention Armin Tamzarian?
Avatar 11:30am

@Ken: Bart mentions it once to Skinner when Skinner catches him in a lie.
Avatar 11:47am

that was a really good analysis Amanda
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:48am

Hey thanks, @steve!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:49am

I could probably talk about it for a lot longer! Ha
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:59am
Ken From Hyde Park:

Thanks, Amanda. Catch you foxes around the blockses.

Thanks for another primo Scenario, @ Amanda! I loved the music, really loved this Simpsons Time, and relished your description of Tom Waits as too "a little extra" for some folks
