Listener comments!

Swag For Life Member 9:04pm Jinx:

great show-to-show segue! "you got the sinner..."
Avatar 9:06pm egal:

Pallenberg tribute?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:08pm Cooh John:

Friend was at Kent State and this was playing from the dorms when the shooting occurred.
Swag For Life Member 9:09pm Jinx:

Dangerous Minds has a clip of the SFTD doc which shows Anita and Stones adding the "woo woo". It's great.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:12pm Therese:

I love the studio segments in that SFTD doc.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:13pm Therese:

though I suppose the film isn't exactly a documentary...
  9:32pm sugarwolf:

I just cleaned out a junk drawer. I'm exhausted.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:34pm Therese:

Do you feel Marie Kondo-fied?
Swag For Life Member 9:39pm Jinx:

Wow, can't believe I goofed so much. SFTD clip is on Rob Sheffield's great essay about Anita's influence on the Stones on Rolling Stone; not DM. My bad.
  9:40pm sugarwolf:

Nah, I'm like Iris Apfel, I like having things!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:45pm Therese:

Ha! I totally understand. Sometimes I think I would like to be a minimalist, if it meant I could keep my stuff.
  9:53pm JakeGould:

I like to have things, but at some point I look at the things I have and realize, “I’m done with them…” and toss them in some way. Either sell them, donate them to a charity or just tossing them if there is no other choice.

That said, anyone need nice cigar boxes? I have extras now that I cleaned up my stuff.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:15pm Cooh John:

JakeGould, I will take a cigar box next spring when I come for the marathon.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:20pm coelacanth∅:

hello Therese and others

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:27pm coelacanth∅:

well, i think you may be pronouncing her first name as her parents meant it, but she chooses to rhyme it with the surname,"falana". (pronounced like Lola Falana pronounces it)
  10:45pm Ann Tree:

We love you Therese. Glad to have you here to keep the schedual free of bros and laughing boys. Your music is excellent.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:50pm Therese:

Thank you, Ann Tree!
  10:59pm MONEYBAG$:

I think the Anthrax song Black Lodge is about the show, if you want to give that a spin
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:01pm Therese:

Moneybag$- I think you are correct.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:05pm Ike:

I am trying to be a good viewer and trust that Lynch is going somewhere w/this, but I'm getting very impatient w/"Dougie." Almost everything else is good, or interesting in some way. But the Las Vegas/aphasia storyline is very depressing. (There is a theory going around that "Las Vegas" isn't real, and that it's another netherworld somewhere between the Lodge and reality, which seems implausible to me.)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:10pm Therese:

Agreed, Ike. Though I did like Naomi Watts giving those two low-lifes the what for.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:23pm Tommy in Neversink:

Love this show
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:25pm ἶkε:

Agreed, that was hilarious. I've been watching w/others at a free gathering in Bushwick (everybody come!) -- the funny bits are funnier with a group.
  11:28pm MONEYBAG$:

a Method Man cover !
  11:40pm JakeGould:

*insert picture of a dog on a computer talking to another dog* “On the Internet nobody knows you’re not Old Dirty Bastard.”
