Doug Schulkind:

Suburban Nights sounds like a really boring porn film.
  9:27pm
Dean:

Obviously, Doug, you have never lived in a suburb. They don't call them "drive-ins" for nothing.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:28pm
Doug Schulkind:

Not that there's anything wrong with that. (I am a product of the suburbs, Dean. For all I know, I'm a product of a really boring.... Never mind.)
  9:30pm
Dean:

Heh, you said, "boring."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:31pm
Sam Segal:

@Doug, @Dean, please! This is a family message board. If you want to talk about your own conception, please...feel free!
  9:34pm
Dean:

Oops, sorry. I thought this was the suburban porn board.

But since you asked, I like to think I was conceived during the filming of "Some Like It Hot," due to the fact that 1) my parents were at the Hotel Coronado when those scenes were shot, and 2) I was born mid-'59 in San Diego. (Also, my dad at the time resembled Tony Curtis.)
  9:36pm
Dean:

I, on the other hand, resemble Jack Lemmon in drag.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:36pm
Doug Schulkind:

My wife once got terrible food poisoning at the Coronado.
  9:38pm
Dean:

Yeah, well, that condition eventually goes away. My parents got me.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:42pm
Parq:

To paraphrase (and update) a comedian it is no longer acceptable to identify by name, the place of conception has been shown to have a significant influence on a person's appearance, which explains why many of you have sometimes gotten the feeling that you look like a '55 Pontiac.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:45pm
Doug Schulkind:

I guess that makes you a post-existing condition, Dean.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:46pm
Sam Segal:

Boy, I sure am curious as to who you're referencing, @Parq, but I won't pry.
  9:48pm
Dean:

For which, in lieu of insurance coverage, there are various tax credits and deductions. I truly love my kids, but no more than in April.

Ike:

Sounding good!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:03pm
Sam Segal:

Thanks for checking in, @Ike!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:07pm
Parq:

That Scott-Heron/Jackson track has been knocking me out for 38 years.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:12pm
Sam Segal:

For some reason, I first heard that tune as a pretty young kid...it's stuck with me
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:16pm
Doug Schulkind:

Hour #3 of the Coltrane doc Tell Me How Long Trane's Been Gone is running on my show this week. It will leave you speechless. One of the most important 60 minutes in the history of jazz history.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:17pm
Sam Segal:

Your broadcasts inspired me to air that number, @Doug!
