Was Geo Tipton affiliated at some point with Nilsson, or am I thinking of someone else?

George Beresford Tipton....?
Avatar 6:19pm

he was the reason Nilsson even had a career!

he mortgaged his house so Nilsson could record and arranged his sessions from 1964 through 1970.

So I was purging records from my racks today, preparing for a sell-off at Princeton Record Exchange, and I found a record that I had been looking through my stacks for - for THREE YEARS. I really need to do a better job of filing.

The Bully Boys, "Movie Greats" - I had been looking for that for each and every episode of "The B-List". Oh well.....

Last night, for the first time in ages, I listened to my LP copy of "The Association's Greatest Hits". It sounds awful, and I wanted to know if other's agreed. They sure do, and that led me down the rabbit hole of learning about the Haeco-CSG circuit.

Laying the groundwork for Jackie Lomax's Bearsville days, no doubt

Laurie's Planet of Sound is just an unpretentious store that feels comfortable for everyone from kids just starting out to older people who are rebuying the records they loved in their youth. It was my favorite record store before I started working here. It's not a crate digging shop...it's lovingly curated.
