	2:38am Wm.: @Arvo That was Matt Purse's project...of Oxen label. That particular piece / tape with Charlie Mumma & Ted Byrnes on percussion, so it's a pretty raucous release. Last time I played USC was during a Noise Bliss-Out, and someone wrote here, "this is not music." Yeah, yeah, yeah...that tells me I'm doing something right!
	2:47am Arvo: I think it was WKCF that I played at in New York, and after that they were taking questions on air for some interview time. Someone called in and made static noises with their mouth and said some dismissive stuff in a thick New York accent. I'm pretty sure it was my cab driver who picked me up after I got off the bus. If so, this cab driver almost got into a fight with a middle eastern man who was trying to steal his fare (me). The guy could have been out of Ghostbusters or the ghost of Christmas present in "Scrooged". Anyhow, I'm very surprised there are musical instruments in that piece that could be regarded as "percussion". Sounded like extremely effective use of scrap metal and feedback/cut ups/pedal chopping to me!
	2:49am Wm.: ...I used to get similar reactions to drone works in the late 1990s; I remember playing a Folke Rabe piece and getting a call where someone droned with their voice into the phone. Then (presumably) that same person called back and told me to "take that record off & throw it in the dumpster." Peasants!
