Good one, jkeigh!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:11am
jkeigh:

Thanks but I need to apologize. I usually try to stay away from anything resembling political comments or jokes on a music forum or comment section and instead focus on our unity in the sonic realm but it's early and the joke just came.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:13am
Jeffrey Davison:

Heavy politics is not really great here, but I myself sometimes indulge on air. Your joke is far from heavy, fine by me, and by most people, I'd say.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:15am
jkeigh:

Thanks again. I try to keep to the rule so as to not be the snowball that starts the avalanche. There are way too many wonderful things to focus on rather than go down that path. The past 75 minutes of music for example
Avatar 7:17am
annie:

yep, i'm grateful there are several playlists' comments sections that are politics-free...

Cooh John:

@spamoni: my activity on the comments board had me questioning myself if such a relationship is healthy. After visiting WFMU this spring I determined it was.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:38am
Jeffrey Davison:

The Judy Henske was originally on High Flying Bird, a great album and a favorite of mine. She has no shortage of fans here. Farewell Aldebaran gets a fair amount of spins here. Some of her stuff might be too poppy for FMU, I guess. I dunno.

Enjoying this Jack Cooper track. Reminiscent of Stephen Malkmus. Will have to delve further! Thanks.

re: the comments board: i find this is the best place for me to socialize and i feel i'm in amongst like minds, on many levels.. music is my life and i like hanging out with people who feel the same way... books, too... but then i tend to run my mouth.. thank you all for being here
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:48am
jkeigh:

I agree Annie. Although I work in a job that involves me interacting with many people everyday, I'm naturally shy and an a bit of an introvert. I find it easier to open up in a place like this where I know that everyone here at least shares my passion for music in all of its many forms.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:51am

Hey, there Morris (al dente, please)...listener mark, thanks, Howard F, didn't think of Stephen Malkmus, thanks.

I can remember back in 1973, Farewell Alderbaran was such a rarity it almost had mythical status. Perhaps the only good thing about CDs are the reissues and comps that have appeared.
