In a short amount of time, i saw an off-Broadway review by the vocal group then known as Toxic Audio with two of their lead singers replaced by understudies, Contact with Boyd Gaines replaced by an understudy and I'm Not Rappaport with Jack Klugman replaced by an understudy. Man, I was glad when that streak came to an end.

Apparently a move to keep another commercial enterprise from entering the market. But this is all second or third-hand knowledge, could be slightly off.

The result was entitled Tomfoolery, which opened in London in 1980....All the songs in that show are in this book, including certain alternate lyrics I wrote for the show." - the Horses' Mouth, in his forward.

Mostly, all I can find on Google image is pictures of more recent productions that strike me as more elaborate, although that could be, as was the impression that Harry just skewered, completely faulty.
