David Ellenbogen produces the excellent world musicky podcast NYC Radio Live. And he's mastermind of the the 24 Hour Indian-Classical-Music-and-More extravaganza, the Ragas Live Festival. The Ragas Live marathon starts Saturday morning Oct 21st through Sunday morning October 22nd at the Rubin Museum in Chelsea.

David also plays guitar (he’s performing in the Rubin’s free Spiral Music series Wed Oct 25th). He is a member of the acclaimed Brooklyn Raga Massive collective (or "BRM"), who have big things on their plate this as well: BRM performs Terry Riley's In C at Le Poisson Rouge on Friday October 6th. And the free Outside (In)dia series at Lincoln Center's Rubenstein Atrium features BRM members collaborating with artists from around the world.

David joins us to share highlights from previous Ragas Live Festivals plus other great recordings from Brooklyn Raga Massive and NYC Radio Live.
