A sonic collage both unpredictable and fluid. Think cosmic synth, heavy acid rock psych, international pop, and the latest in experimental bedroom projects.
Thanks. I'm trying to forget TBH. But I'll always take a free movie ticket. I'm even avoiding the soundtrack. I hear it's pretty long so I'm going to movies dehydrated that day

Ah, now you're just trying to make me cry all by myself in the middle of the night.
I read something today that clarified what I had said re Scott & Vangelis. They had a MAJOR falling out over V's lateness in completing the score on time.Apparently the 2 despise each other to this day.
Temperamental artists & their egos, I guess.You think Scott would just suck it up, apologize & say let's make the best film we can (& a ton of box office in the process). Especially after the last couple of turds he's dropped. Btw, Cosmos is a favorite of mine as well.
I like Front 242, that egg video somehow makes it hard for me to take them seriously. A good thing in my book

Yeah, Fred, I second that, from Interviews I read at that time, they are reasonable guys, they never "identified" with their "martial" outfits but did everything with an ironic twist or something. That's why I can still listen to that kind of EBM. While other acts tend to just look silly ;-)
One of my bosses has been playing with Vangelis for years. From what he said, the guy is a tough as nails businessman, so there might also be something there about the share of said box office Vangelis demanded
@Batman:agreed
@Fred: from what I've seen he wasn't even asked to work on the new film. Not that he couldn't have gone to the studio with his hand out in the first place.
