Ken and Andy further lower WFMU's already abysmal standards as the program enters its death throes. Stunt radio which subjects the radio audience to concepts and topics which mature adults should not have to endure. Find the fatal flaw. (Visit homepage.)

Options October 11, 2017: Meet the WFMU DJ Junior League!

Andy is fresh off of Molly's bat mitzvah, which was better than any of Ken's cookie parties and on par with the WFMU Christmas party of 2004.

In studio are:
-Charlie, age 9
-Bea, age 7 (sorta interested in radio)
-Myra, age 10 (also sorta interested in radio)
-Sal age 5
The visitors are home schooled, but 1 or 2 days a week they attend the Brooklyn Apple Academy, a place for home schooled kids to go and interact with other kids. These particular kids are in the radio club at BAA, hence their visit to WFMU.

Tonight’s show features a competition - homeschoolers vs public schoolers. Kids who go to public school are invited to call in and compete with the in-studio kids by answering questions that Ken and Andy provide. Andy offers to adopt the winner.

Questions about the Statue of Liberty, vocabulary, former presidents, and geography are presented. Once they have attained a sizable lead, the homeschoolers attempt to “fall on the ball” and intentionally give out the wrong phone number (to keep the publics from calling). This doesn’t really work - however the homeschoolers hold on to win it 8-6! No adoptions occur.

In other news, the current Kickstarter campaign is just wrapping up, and a new billboard will be up soon!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:50pm Sebastian:

oh man, Josh's billboard is genius
Avatar 6:53pm dale:

what language do they speak in new england?
  6:54pm Old Dave:

Here is the real deal about public school. Every disabled and challenged child, every kid who has a phobia of ink (not kidding) and every newly arrived non English speaking (who all require special assistance) are facing harder options.
They land in public school. And it does not neccisarily poison their classmates.
And religiously or otherwise dis-inclined people whose parents want to isolate their spawn from reality... they go home school.
EVERY child is special, and I refuse to thank you for isolating your kids from mine.
Home school parents can be
terribly lazy and damaging. They also take our taxes, so please do not pretend otherwise.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:55pm Sebastian:

there's a NEW England?
Avatar 6:56pm dale:

i think andy will somehow magically win the show.
Avatar 6:56pm dale:

old dave - you are correct sir.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:57pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Have them come back for an interview with Clay Pigeon some time soon.
Avatar 6:59pm glenn:

if public school was good enough for our lord and saviour jesus christ, it's good enough for me.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:59pm Sebastian:

agreed, Old Dave
Avatar 7:02pm glenn:

anyway, my mom was a teacher. i got public school during the week, and home school on the weekend.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:05pm melinda:

Old Dave sometimes the parents who homeschool do so because their kids are in the challenged and disabled group you mentioned, and they are not isolating their kids from 'reality'. I can't imagine home schooling, personally, because of the effort involved, but I wouldn't be so quick to generalize about parents' motives.
