	9:55am The Oscar: I once had an argument with a friend about Forever Changes-- he characterized it as a sweet, sentimental album, and I insisted that it was a paranoid, borderline-apocalyptic record about pending doom. What's really interesting, I realized later, is that my friend was mostly citing Bryan MacLean's songs, and I was talking about Arthur Lee's.
