Thanks Everybody.. I was in chat Friday and had an urgency to go see my dad. Y'all encouraged me to follow my gut. I got there just in time. In my arms he passed being told he was a great dad. As soon as i said that, he let go. A shaman came and did a ceremony over his body and for his spirit journey. My best friend moved here from Tibet. He called on my bike ride home i told him and he did a singing bowl ceremony for me with a small group of monks and i never felt such peace. Now i feel sorta messy and sad. Thats my story. Im grateful for my experience that day and grateful for all of you. Ty humbled beyond words in so many ways. Ty wake and bake friends.

Independent. I think Sebadoh coined it ironically.

I️ grew up eating meat, some raised on our land some hunted. Went vegan as a teenager when I️ learned about the industrial production. Went back to working/living on Farms and began eating animal procura. Realized my ethical dilemma was not killing but suffering.
I️ still have serious issues with the commodification of animal life, so I’m super fussy about sourcing meat

I'm one of those- I don't celebrate genocide day. I take the day off from all responsibilities.... respond to invitations- oh yes, I have plans for the holiday, to avoid preaching when people want to relax. Though my awesome sister listens and we let it go.
If my huge family or friends want to have a big meal together at the end of Nov or Dec I'll go. But not on the specific usa end of Nov or Dec legal holidays. My little protest against the horrors of colonial slavery and annihilation of indigenous people. I used to be an assistant to a chef so I make meals for friends and family periodically. But I have been reading too damn much about the history of the usa I just can't celebrate the Thanks day. And I def avoid the horacious Xmas day. I like to read those books been meaning to finish...

I gave up meat two year ago after having always had ethical issues with it. Now when I'm stood in the meat section of a supermarket, it's absurd watching people buy shrink-wrapped flesh, with blood pooled in the packaging. I just think we are so advanced, we surely can eat healthily without being so primitive as to slaughter other creatures.
