Women that rock....now thats thanksgiving....
  9:20pm Stevel:

Otsi (umlaut be damned!) has my favorite bass sound since 1981, or something. Very cool.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:44pm fleep:

Switchblade, making a list, checking it twice, just found out I was out of a spice.
  9:49pm A.T.F.:

Manson what a waste of tax $$$..Midget punk...
Avatar 9:51pm Number Six:

@Batman: I'm just recovering from AnimeNYC last weekend. If I hadn't been sharing booth space with a couple of friends I never would've gone. I hate doing shows at Javits! How have you been? Been a while since we ran into each other.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:52pm Switchblade Batman:

Oh I just started a new job that's been keeping me busy, I've been listening but too occupied to comment.

What were you boothing there?
  9:52pm Stashu:

Hi friends. I am nice *waves*
Avatar 9:53pm Mailman Tom:

The Javits Center sucks
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:53pm Switchblade Batman:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:53pm Switchblade Batman:

You're the coolest @Stashu
  9:54pm Bobni:

This sucks
Avatar 9:59pm Number Six:

I sell old school anime & tokusatsu stuff. '70s & '80s toys, artbooks, DVDS & whatever from Star Blazers, Gundam, Robotech, Godzilla, Japanese super hero shows. Congrats on the new job, hope you like it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:59pm Cooh John:

Did not know you were from Cbus, DJ PB. Now I know why you are a Ron House fan. O-H...
Avatar 10:00pm Number Six:

@Mailman: Javits sucks so bad it's gone from suck to blow.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:01pm Switchblade Batman:

@Six, I don't mind it. I'm giving it some time but I like the office. And I LOVED robotech.
  10:01pm Stashu:

@switchblade hi! let's wave to Paul! *waves at Paul* :)
Avatar 10:04pm Number Six:

Robotech was awesome, especially for an '80s cut & paste edit/dub job.
Avatar 10:04pm Mailman Tom:

The old location for the Javits Center was so much better. It was located inside Columbus Circle.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:04pm Switchblade Batman:

Well only the first season anyway, and the parts when minmae didn't sing
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:05pm DJ PB:

@Cool John: Not from Cbus! I must've misspoke! But Dana and V-3 are!
Avatar 10:07pm Number Six:

@Tom: Never was there. But I hate doing shows at the current one. They rip off the vendors so bad it's unbelievable. That's why I never do the N.Y. ComicCon.
  10:09pm Mike Sin:

Happy thanksgiving to you and your family, Paul. Happy to be listening live and loud... in slippers.
Avatar 10:10pm Number Six:

Batman, you mean the Macross story right? Her singing was MUCH better in the original JAPANESE dub. The third part with the transforming bikes was pretty cool too.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:12pm Cooh John:

@ DJ PB: Sorry, I must've misheard. Drowsy after working 10 hours. Heard of Dana, but not V-3.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:17pm Cooh John:

@ DJ PB: Thanks for the Cbus love. I hear Columbus music on WFMU once a month.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:17pm Switchblade Batman:

Yup, the Macross story. I really wish Netflix did something with that. Like they did with Voltron
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:25pm DJ PB:

@Mike Sin: I hope you're getting the stuffing ready. For the manicotti!
Avatar 10:32pm Number Six:

They can't. Harmony Gold owns the US rights to ANYTHING from Macross. That's why only 1 or 2 of the sequals from Japan ( and there have been many) ever made it to the US.
Avatar 10:35pm Number Six:

Here's a better explanation of the copyright issue with the show.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:35pm medson:

Great song and show !
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:36pm Switchblade Batman:

Psychocandy, fuck and yes
Avatar 10:36pm Mailman Tom:

We went to see Jesus and Mary Chain at a chapel in New Haven back in the early 90s. It was such a religious setting, I expected them to be introduced by a priest.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:37pm Switchblade Batman:

I read something about that @Six, I wish Netflix would throw more money at them though
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:44pm Steve B.:

Hi Paul, Bari (?), and everyone! Enjoying the music as I sit at my puter. Happy Thanksgiving to all!
  10:50pm Ignore Function:

Good stuff, DJPB
Avatar 10:51pm Number Six:

I'd be happy if they would just release the Japanese followups and not do any original content. Harmony Gold's new material has been less than steller. I can't even begin to describe how much Robotech Sentinels sucked. The Shadow Chronicles wasn't too bad. Both suffer from being made by Americans who just don't really seem to understand the original material. Kind of like that Death Note abomination that just surfaced on Netflix. AND FOR GOD'S SAKE USE A REAL ANIME PRODUCTION HOUSE-NOT DREAMWORKS (that's why I don't like Voltron).
  10:52pm Mike tp:

sammartino...the classic wrestler!!
  10:53pm Mike tp:

  11:08pm Stevel:

Such great sets! Perfect for my Friday-on-Wednesday evening!
  11:13pm Stevel:

Are you guys jumping around in there?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:14pm courtneynoir:

Awwwwww yeah it's a Bruno nite
  11:17pm Stevel:

Nice Strong Arm is something else!

And now this! How much more can we take?!
  11:19pm Stevel:

Breaking Circus!

Again, how much rock can we endure?!
  11:20pm Deerek:

Mr DJ Paul Bruno you are killing it, I am preparing tomorrow's thanksgiving dinner, could not have asked for a better soundtrack!
Swag For Life Member 11:44pm Jinx:

enjoyed the show; thanks
  11:48pm Will:

Paul, you seem dedicated to presenting us with cuttingly edgy cuts of every stock, so deliciously obscure (and with all great band names!) and for this we are thankful.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:50pm DJ PB:

Thanks for listening everybody! Your comments are much appreciated!
  11:54pm Ignore Function:

The Twin Cities are well represented this evening.
