On one of the extra Channel 8/WMTW slots that you get even with just antenna. 8-1 and 8-3 are regular broadcast; 8-2 and 8-4 are both the Heroes and Icons(!) channel. Don't know if it's still scheduled, but they've been showing Trek shows thru the evening, starting with original at an early hour and on through the other series.
They also show 80s TV series that are unwatchable....Hunter and Renegade, which I never saw a single minute of in their day. A few other old shows of interest here and there.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:28pm
Ike:

@Steve@11:05, those 3 seasons are the entirety of the original 60s Star Trek -- it only lasted that long before NBC unceremoniously canned it, and then it became famous in off-network reruns. Watch "Where No Man Has Gone Before" first, it's supposed to be first. Much of the show is horrifyingly sexist but it was revolutionary for space sci-fi TV at the time.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:31pm
coelacanth∅:

is that the pilot? and did the pilot have captain pike? (or am i confused)
Avatar 11:33pm
steve:

nice, thanks Ike
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:35pm
Ike:

@c∅: The failed first pilot was "The Cage" with Capt. Pike. NBC executives were like, "What's this brainy shit? Where are the fistfights and monsters?" "Where No Man..." is the successful pilot #2, w/plenty of fistfights. Then the dingbat executives at NBC shuffled the episodes and aired a couple of dumber ones first, and that's been the accepted episode order ever since. (You can watch them in almost any order, really.)
