He heard the single on the radio while driving around Atlanta in '71, pulled off the road, and was so mesmerized that he immediately bought a plane ticket and flew to Florida to track down the guitarists—he thought there were three. He found the label office, and met the sole guitarist responsible for all parts on Clean Up Woman. Kooper later did some recordings with Beaver, but I don't think they've been issued.
