"I listened yesterday. It's no reflection on you but I could'nt see where you were going or what you were going for. This early seventies thing did'nt get noticed the first time and you talk about friends of like Dealney and Bonnie who had records out like we're supposed to remember who they are. Then you play this long winded free jazz stuff that really grates on my nerves. And that noise without a beat and sounds like someones being pinched. Then you play a reggae song, I think you called it Dub, to what, be cool? You seem to really fetishize the whole folk thing too which is obnoxious to us who don't even care. I liked it when you played that punk song though. I like Joe Belock a lot." (Visit homepage.)

Inspired by @Morgan's comment: Dear Alex, I listened yesterday. It's no reflection on you but I couldn't see where you were going or what you were going for. This JFK's brain-in-a-jar thing didn't get noticed the first time and you talk about friends of like James Holmes and Sirhan Sirhan like we're supposed to remember who they are. Then you play this long-winded WTC implosion stuff that really grates on my nerves. And that lizard man theory without a beat and sounds like someone's being pinched. Then you talk about the Boston Marathon bombing, I think you called it a false flag, to what, be cool? You seem to really fetishize the whole intelligence agency psy-op thing too which is obnoxious to us who don't even care. I liked it when you played that one about alien colonists though. I like Joe Belock a lot.

@Polyus - did Deon play on "Careless Whisper"? I know I can look it up, but it would be so much cooler if you knew off the top of your head.
Avatar 10:08am

he played on the first couple GM solo recs, so probably...check out his past goes back to learning from motown dudes

@PKNY - I have to confess that I looked it up in the first place.

When you have James Jamerson as your bass instructor...wow.

Also see he played on Brainstorm's "Journey to the Light". Might be doing a deep Deon dive over the holidays!

On the "guess who played on this" tip: I recently found out that Phil Collins played drums on much of Robert Plant's first solo albums. Definitely sounds like him on this track.

nice; was just ranting on FB about "classic rock radio" and how those artists have such huge great catalogs that never get played...
