Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:15am drr:

Refreshing to hear some clean-cut young men with traditional values, not this Anti-American stuff the other stations play.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:16am Matt Fiveash:

It's actually J. Geils Band, chipmunkified.
Avatar 11:16am Marc Francis:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:18am Ken From Hyde Park:

These tunes are helping me keep pace as I make out my last Christmas cards. The last mail pick-up before Christmas coincides with the end of this program.

  11:23am Stevel:

Don't let your baby take you for a sleigh ride. Lessons learned.

Oh Holy Night always stops me in my tracks. What a song! I know nothing of its history. Might remedy that.
  11:23am Artie:

Still waiting for The Gories Chipmunk Christmas LP.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:24am melinda:

We've got freezing rain here, on top of yesterday's snow.
Avatar 11:25am duke:

My mom had a record of Mario Lanza singing Oh Holy Night. She used to play it at top volume.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:26am Goyim in the AM:

Fantastic set, Matt! Best song ever recorded (Cara-Lin) and most exciting song opening ever (first :02 of Glad All Over with Rick Huxley's bass dive), plus Foot Stompin' (true #1 song).
Avatar 11:58am Sketch:

Got those good good Jamaican records today
Avatar 11:59am Marc Francis:

Loving your DJ set!
Avatar 11:59am Todd-o-phonic Todd:

Billy (The Kid) Emerson did the original of "Red Hot", also on Sun like Billy Lee Riley. Akin to Junior Parker and Elvis doing "Mystery Train".

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:38pm drr:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:41pm drr:

Joe non Papa: I would like something that would have a lot of overlap, a disc of songs that contain the word "sacroiliac".
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:41pm drr:

  12:55pm thatpatsmith:

Hey Matt Great stuff
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:56pm Matt Fiveash:

Hey thanks! Next time!
  12:58pm DG:

Yep, some great unfamiliar music from names you know (Gore, Orbison, Arthur A., etc.). BTW, Film Forum here in NYC showed "After the Fox" a year or 2 ago & that odd song (the Hollies & Peter Sellers?!) played over the credits. It's a fairly funny 60s-type send-up of Hollywood, w/Victor Mature making fun of his image.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:58pm Stanley:

That's made Christmas a little more bearable.
Thanks Matt
  1:00pm Artie:

Thanks Matt!
Merry Christmas to you and Amanda!!
