It snowed in Seattle and environs too. Bad for me — I can’t walk in the snow (paralyzed on my right side), and I have to walk outside on Christmas (family christmas party). Fortunately I was fine . Now I’m very tired!

Some advance warning: Our cat was *very* disturbed by the track I'll be playing next, after this David Lee Myers piece -- so if you've got a cat, you may want to ask them to leave the room now.

re: @12.15 i'm in that age range and never took note of the phrase "boxing day" until within the last 5 years, and only maybe 1-4 times, until it started being used a lot on the wfmu comment boards. at some point i asked someone what it meant and the person said oh it's a day to return things to stores!
...so, now -within the last 10 minutes, at this ripe old age, i've learned what boxing day is.

glenn:

welp, the war on christmas is over for another year, thanks be.

Hey, Glenn.

Yes, Boxing Day is the day we bury all the brave martyrs who were killed this year during the continuing War on Christmas.

This Scorpio track on now really feels like it was born to be bed music -- but I decided to play it sans my yapping.
Avatar 1:56pm
Tony Coulter:

I've been keeping it in reserve as potential talkover music.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:57pm
coelacanth∅:

i talked over it.
Avatar 1:58pm

It's so very good, Tony. It goes well with coffee and the Drummer Stream, too. It was enough to entice one colleague, who's off today, to drop in. Lemony, lemony I say unto thee ...
